Local children’s home seeks to end the child abuse cycle
The statistics are startling. In the first half of 2011 alone, over 141,000 abused children received help from Children’s Advocacy Centers around America. Children’s homes around the country are on the frontline in this battle against child abuse.
For nearly 145 years, the Sacramento Children’s Home has been the local source providing care to the most vulnerable children and families in the Sacramento community. BabyProFinder.com has partnered with the Sacramento Children’s Home to actively join the fight in this ongoing effort to help at-risk children. BabyProFinder.com will make a donation to the Sacramento Children’s Home for every new parent who joins their site. While making a difference in the lives of local children, parents will benefit from the comprehensive directory that is BabyProFinder.com. The directory connects parents and hopefuls to local fertility, pregnancy, and infant care professionals.
The Sacramento Children's Home is committed to helping build strong families; opening doors to the future; maximizing potential; and ending the cycle of child abuse. Their community-based, residential and educational programs address the issues of children, newborn to 21, and range from prevention of child abuse and parenting education, to acute trauma care. The partnership between the Sacramento Children’s Home and BabyProFinder.com is an encouraging step towards helping Sacramento area children in need. You can join in this partnership by setting up a free parent profile at BabyProFinder.com today!
