The Sacramento Metro Chamber welcomes the Northern California Tea Party Patriots to Sacramento during their Nationwide 9/12 Tea Party rally.

With thousands of attendees expected at Sunday, Sept. 12, at McClellan Park and filling up local hotels and eating at restaurants, the event promises to be a convergence of perspectives from across the West.

“Members of the Metro Chamber—numbering 2,200 businesses in the six-county region—are looking forward to being of service to rally attendees that come through the region and shop at or use local businesses,” said Matt Mahood, president & CEO. “We’re here to serve you and make your visit enjoyable.”

Long a champion for divergent perspectives, the Metro Chamber brings in speakers from across the globe and the political spectrum during the annual Perspectives speaker series. This year, the chamber hosts former governors Howard Dean and Sarah Palin at the Friday, Oct. 15 event at the Sacramento Convention Center. Perspectives is emceed by Fox Radio Talk Show Host Tom Sullivan, who is one of this year’s speakers.

“We invite and welcome Tea Party Patriots to attend Perspectives this year,” Mahood said. “They will find the event to be an excellent place to network among the region’s business and civic leaders.”
