According to The Skin Cancer Foundation, skin cancer is the most common, and if detected early, most preventable and curable form of cancer in the United States, with more than 1 million cases diagnosed annually across the country. This significant figure reflects the need for regular screenings for residents living in the Sacramento area.
The Skin Cancer Foundation’s Road to Healthy Skin Tour will be stopping by Roseville and Elk Grove in the Tour’s 38-foot customized RV to offer free full body skin cancer screenings and the latest skin cancer information to the public. Screenings are first come, first serve.
Local dermatologist, Dr. Andrea Willey, from Solano Dermatology Associates in Solano County, Calif., will donate her time to conduct screenings.
