Roseville Toasters Shine in the International Speech and Evaluation Contest

On February 23, 2010 the Roseville Toasters hosted a Toastmasters International Speech and Evaluation Contest. The contest was co-chaired by Lynne Reinhardt and Heather Robertson. Club President Vincent Johnson was Toastmaster for the Speech Contest, and Dianne Bish was Toastmaster for the Evaluation Contest.

David Sawka won first place with his moving speech, "Life's Manual, Ordinary or Extraordinary?"

Martin Tenette took second place with his inspiring speech, "If You Can Dream It; You Can Do It."

John Rogers Burk won first place in the Evaluation Contest, and Joyce Mason won second place. Both evaluators entertained us all with their humor and insight.

The winners at this contest will go on to the Area 61 Int'l Speech & Evaluation Contest to be held on March 5, 2010 at 7:00.

Roseville Toasters member, Alcides Hernandez, Area 61 Governor is the Contest Chair and Coordinator for the Area 61 Contest.

Rose Masters will host the contest at the Roseville City Corporation Yard, 2005 Hilltop Cir, 95747
