Local Author Shares Suicide Story With A Heavy Helping of Hope!
Deb at work

Debbie Wilson lost her husband to suicide in 1994 and felt that much of her own was lost in the years spent struggling to regain her life. Unsure of where to begin, she navigated her way through the difficult process of suicide recovery.

Wanting to help others with what she'd learned, Debbie put her experiences to paper and into print. "From Suicide to Serenity: One Survivor's Story" is available in paperback for survivors of all kinds through Booklocker.com. She feels that the book is an invaluable resource for suicide survivors, other tragedy survivors, or anyone going through rough times.

In retrospect, Debbie is grateful and relieved that there is light at the end of the tunnel, and her greatest blessing has been to turn the tragedy around and make a difference in others' lives.

Debbie is excited for what 2009 continues to bring. She has presented her book at Borders in Roseville and spoken to the Friends for Survival group in Grass Valley. Next, she will share her special brand of hope at Anna's Books from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 9 at 1150 Sunset Blvd., Suite #155 in Rocklin.

Debbie may be reached at (916) 899-8832 or through her website at www.suicidetoserenity.com.
